How to Prepare For the End of the World

We tend to think of the end of the world as an event, but the end is actually a process. While it is true that most people will not survive the process, some will. Even for those who won't, some preparation is prudent, as you will see.
God's purpose in ending the world is to establish a kingdom of righteousness. We may have our own ideas about what that entails and what it will look like, our opinions about righteousness ultimately do not matter. This is because this will not be our kingdom, but rather the Kingdom of Jesus Christ on earth. Jesus will be exercising all power and authority, and those not having His righteousness will be banished.
For man-centered, democracy-minded people such as live in America, this may sound like a bitter pill. But the fact remains: Jesus Christ is Lord of all the earth, and His will will ultimately be done. We are REQUIRED to conform to His standards, and those who don't will not see His kingdom; rather, the wrath of God will abide on them forever.
At this point, you may be tempted to disregard this message as another religious rant. I hope you will reconsider if this is your inclination. First of all, what is wrong with righteousness? What is wrong with a kingdom where there is no sin, no theft, no violence, no murder, no lying? Why would we not prefer the way of life over the way of death? The end of the world will be that point when everyone receives the full consequences of the path they have chosen. Life and peace for those who CHOOSE life and peace, and complete separation from God and all of His goodness for those who refuse. It's really not any more complicated than that; even a young child can understand it.
Secondly, this is not about "religion" or anyone's religious opinions. Rather, it is about obtaining a righteousness that comes from God, so that each of us might be accepted into His kingdom.
Having said that, I must warn you that the time is very short. The next minor event (you may have to watch for it) will be a repudiation of Israel by the United States. When this occurs, a major multi-national military coalition led by Russia will assemble itself against Israel and will invade from the north. The world will witness a scorched-earth campaign that will kill two-thirds of the Jews.
The remaining Jews will cry out for deliverance to the Lord Jesus Christ, and He will come to their defense. As He destroys the invaders, He will also rain destruction on the "coastlands," which includes the United States.
One might ask, How does someone prepare for something as cataclysmic as divine judgment against the whole country? Here's how:
  1. First, this is NOT a time to panic. We have known for 2000 years that Jesus was going to return, set up His kingdom, and judge the earth.
  2. Get your spiritual house in order. REPENT. This means align your life with the law of God. Where you have sinned, you must acknowledge your sin, confess it to God, and make restitution where-ever possible and AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
  3. OBEY - Every person who was saved in the Church Age repented, confessed, was baptized, and submitted to the Lordship of Christ in ALL of life. If you are not living in newness of life, it's because you are not reconciled to God through Jesus Christ. Do yourself (and your loved ones!) a favor: turn off the TV, take out the trash (foul books, music, videos, etc.) and get your heart right before God. DO NOT PUT THIS OFF. Don't trifle with God, His law, or His offer of salvation. He WILL preserve you if your belief is evidenced by obedience, hatred of sin, holy living, and love of the brethren.
  4. Don't be deceived. Study your Bible. The time is getting really short.
  5. Pray for those you know who are still lost. No one can come to faith in Christ unless the Father draws him (John 6:44). IF you are saved, you have a privilege and an advantage that most people don't enjoy: access to God's Throne of Grace. Use it!
How Much Time Remains?
In view of both current events and Biblical prophecies, I believe we will see these events beginning in April or May of 2009. I have written an article entitled The Final Fulfillment of Pentecost that explains how I reached this conclusion. A link to that article is below.
If June 1st arrives and none of these things have happened, it is because I made unwarranted assumptions or otherwise erred in my study. The Bible is still true. You will never be any worse off for preparing for your inevitable meeting with God. And you could still be hit by a truck on June 2nd.

The 2012 Doomsday Prophecy - A Journey Towards the End of World

Are you aware of the 2012 doomsday prophecy? This is not a question which is asked by the common man as it never affects their daily routine. Everyone is aware of the predictions given in the book of Revelations. If you are not a Christian it might be hard for you to believe what is given in the Bible. There are many other evidences which will prove the 2012 doomsday prophecy. In the chapter of Revelations the date of the events which are to occur are not specified clearly. In this 21st century we have got other means to calculate the predictions regarding the end of the world. The movements of planets and stars cannot be controlled by humans and therefore you cannot say that these predictions are absurd.
December 21, 2012 is the date which is considered to be the end of this lovely world. This date comes from the Mayan calendar. The existence of this civilization came to an end years before which make people to mock at their 2012 doomsday prophecy. There are many events which were predicted according to the Mayan calendar which has come true. Therefore it would be foolish on your part to makes faces at this concept of 2012 doomsday prophecy and turn away your heads. The Mayans were known for their extraordinary skills in astronomy and mathematics. They are the first population to develop a calendar which was 3500 years long and also gave origin to a mathematical calculator. Even though the civilization is pre-historic they made structures which were impossible for the people in today's world.
You can find the same concept of 2012 doomsday prophecy in the Aztec calendar. Many people believe that it is a mere copy of the Mayan calendar. If you still do not believe about the forecast given in these places you can also refer the predictions of I-Ching, Merlin, The Cybil, The Bible, Nostradamus and Mother Shipton. In every place the end of the world is mentioned and therefore this prediction had to come true.
2012 doomsday prophecy is developed and put forth in front of the public after years of research. It is a warning to the human civilization about the impending danger which is yet to engulf the earth.

Mayan Calendar Myths

There are many myths about the Maya and the Maya Calendar circulating on the Internet.  Let's debunk some of the bigger ones!
The Mayans are not extinct. I don't understand where the western world go this idea.  Check out the CIA Factbook on Guatemala (Google - cia factbook guatemala) and do the math yourself.  My calculations show there are over 5,000,000 ethnic Maya living in Guatemala alone - that's over 5 million in Guatemala alone.  Add to this the Maya in Mexico, Honduras and El Salvador and you've got a pretty sizable number of supposedly extinct people running around.
Second up is the term Maya Calendar vs. Mayan Calendar.  Most everyone from Mexico below refer to it as "Maya Calendar" relating to the Spanish "El Calendario Maya".  However keep in mind neither Spanish nor English is the native language of the Maya so if you're going to argue about this remember you're argument is "what is the name of the calendar in English", or Spanish, or your language.  My point here is the argument really has nothing to do with the Maya or the Mayan Calendar but is a symantic argument that does little but distract from the calendar itself.
Next up - The Mayan Calendar.  The Mayan Calendar is actually composed of multiple calendars depending on what you are contemplating.  For reference there is a Maya Haab Calendar, a Maya Long Count Calendar, the Calendar Round (though some state this is created only from certain recent interpretations), the sacred Maya Tzolkin calendar, and other calendars recording the progression of the moon, Venus, Saturn and Jupiter (819 day revolution), and more.
Finally, the Mayan Calendar does not predict the end of the world.  There are dates carved in stone, by the Maya, well beyond 2012.
The myths surrounding the Maya and the Mayan Calendar 2012 connections need to be exposed for their true nature - myths.  There is much to be learned from the Maya if we can open our minds to a different way of knowing.
I also encourage you to view this Mayan Calendar 2012 video and to continue your explorations of the Maya and the Mayan Calendar.

2012 doomsday, the end of life, are the Mayans right?

Are you making big plans for December 21, 2012? Are you aware of the tragedy which is yet to happen on this date? Many people are still ignorant about the 2012 doomsday predictions. Some people feel all these stuff absurd and do not care to look into the matter. When Noah spoke about the flood which will destroy the world everyone mocked at him and carried on with their works. What if 2012 doomsday predictions become true? It would be a worse condition which is unimaginable for the people. It is very clearly stated in the chapter of Revelations that there would be end to this world. The exact date is not mentioned in the book and people still ponder over this statement.
2012 doomsday predictions can be checked in all the scripture present in today's world. In every holy book there is reference to this point which is often overlooked by the people. December 21, 2012 was extracted out of the Mayan calendar. People consider this civilization to be extinct centuries before and consider their theories absurd. The fact is that many of the major events which happened in the world were already predicted with the help of the Mayan calendar. It is impossible for the human brains to determine the positions and movements of the planets. According to the changes in the solar system there can be effects on the earth.
Mayans are famous for their talents in astronomy and mathematics. They have created structure which are impossible for the people of today's world. They have made a different sort of mathematical calculator which is checked according to the activities present in heaven. Even though the whole concept of 2012 doomsday predictions appears funny it can always be true. The word is spreading among the people about the danger which is hanging like a dagger on the earth. You cannot take 2012 doomsday predictions lightly when there are so many evidences present to prove the fact.
2012 doomsday predictions are the common talk among the people nowadays. Researches and studies are being conducted extensively on this matter to know the basic truth behind the whole concept.
